Microsoft Azure Key Vaults

A service for securely managing keys, secrets, and certificates.

Protect cryptographic keys and other secrets used by cloud apps and services.

Features

  • Secret management: Securely store and control access to tokens, passwords, certificates, API keys, and other secrets.

  • Key management: Create and manage encryption keys for data encryption, signing, and key life cycle operations.

  • Certificate management: Provision, manage, and deploy public and private SSL/TLS certificates for Azure and internal resources.

  • Access policies: Define granular access policies for users, applications, and services to control permissions for secrets, keys, and certificates.

  • Integration with Azure services: Seamless integration with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Service, and Azure Kubernetes Service for secure access to secrets and keys.

  • Autorotation of cryptographic assets: Azure Key Vault provides automation capabilities for rotating cryptographic assets.
